Puppy Update for 11/9/2020

We've already had some interest in our upcoming litter and we just wanted to take a moment to update folks on the progress of the family.

Pretzel has definitely shown signs of being pregnant. One of her telltale signs of pregnancy is that she likes to nap even more than normal and it's rare to find her not napping nowadays. She still gets her exercise and plenty of time outdoors as we take the dogs for walks but we're very attentive to how she's feeling and how much exercise she wants. Another fun fact about Pretzel is she gets to be selective about her diet. She's never been one to reject food outright, but she's definitely taking smaller meals. To ensure her diet is meeting her and the puppies' nutrient requirements, we've been ensuring her food availability is increased and that she gets supplemented with high quality prepared foods from the kitchen such as lean chicken and rice.
